Read About How Mindy Healed Her Fatigue by Working with Dr. Lan:

“I came to see Dr. Lan a couple months ago in a very bad place physically. I really did not have much hope in seeing anything work for me as I have tried everything I can think of for a solution.

I have dealt with so many issues physically over the years and many of them at the same time which makes life hard to get thru. One of the most difficult is fatigue.

Fatigue for me has been a physiologically, and emotionally debilitating issue to deal with. For someone who normally has more energy than I know what to do with to be plagued with fatigue has been horrible.

For the last few years now, I have been unable to do many things I love. Exercising, taking walks to be in nature and clear my mind, sports, not to mention going out with friends, socializing, staying up late to watch a movie with my family, being present emotionally at times all because I do not have the energy physically or emotionally to do so.

It has been a debilitating thing at times. My body feels heavy, my muscles feel weak, my energy is gone and all I can do is get thru the workday and go to bed. My brain feels too tired to think and I really feel hopeless. I have thought about stepping down from my position at work many times but could not quit. In those moments of hopelessness, I pushed myself to keep going, keep trying and find the answers I needed to get better despite what Western Medicine doctors had told me. I refused to believe that I had to live with fatigue and all these issues I deal with on a daily basis.

The fatigue caused me to become anxious in ways I never was before. I always had this thought that “I can do that” and then I realized I didn’t have the energy to make it happen and that realization lead anxious feelings that my life might not return as it once was.

I appreciate Dr. Cara Lan because she listens carefully, she puts together a plan for me to follow, and it works. When the plan needs to be tweaked, she changes it up to see if those changes will result in a better result. I was a skeptic at first because I have tried so many things unsuccessfully and been on so many medications that have simply not worked and undoubtedly made my body worse off. I can honestly say I feel much better, and my fatigue is gone. I am still working through other issues, but I have confidence, in time we will master those as well”.

“Today, I can enjoy time outside, even taking walks again. I enjoy seeing people and socializing more. I have joined a new church, and a Bible Study class with my husband and am meeting new friends. Alleviating the fatigue has helped my relationships, because I am able to focus more, and listen without feeling like my mind is too tired to concentrate. I can also do more with my family. I am also able to get thru work much more efficiently without feeling like I am counting down the hours to make it end. I have increased my sales and feel a lot more energetic to actually go out and meet people.

I have a lot of energy now actually. It feels good to have a little more of “me” back!

Thanks to my favorite new doctor!”
