Naturopathic Health Alignment Consultation:
1 hour and 30 minutes
During this portion of the intake we will thoroughly discuss:
Current symptoms
Past medical history
Family and social histories
Current medications and supplements
A complete review of all organ systems, including mental and emotional symptoms
Review of any recent labs, imaging or other professional evaluations
Ordering labs or imaging if necessary
Individualized Treatment Plan
Homeopathic Consultation:
1 hour and 30 minutes
During part II of the intake, we will discuss your symptoms in even greater depth and detail. Homeopathic medicine is a highly individualized form of medicine and requires the doctor to thoroughly understand what you are experiencing in order to prescribe the remedy that will best help you recover.
We will be focusing on what exactly makes your experience different from anyone else's, even those with the same diagnosis. Dr. Lan will ask detailed questions including: recent stories and examples of symptom flares, anything that relieves or worsen symptoms, thought and behavioral changes that occur with the symptoms, changes in appetite, heat tolerance or intolerance, changes in perspiration, discussion of any other symptoms or feelings of unease in your body that may or may not be directly associated with your main concern, and many others.
After the initial intake is complete, Dr. Lan will prescribe a homeopathic medication which costs approximately $10 and lasts about one month. Most of the remedies can be purchased online through the Fullscript, in our office or mailed to you if you are out of the area. Some of the homeopathic remedies can be easily bought at local health food stores.
A free 15-minute check-in is included with the initial intake and is generally done 1 week after the homeopathic visit.
Follow-up visits
Generally, follow-up visits are scheduled for 45-minutes. Depending on the complexity of the case, however, a shorter or longer follow up visit may be required.

Insurance & Billing
Dr. Lan is considered out-of-network and does not directly submit insurance claims. However, your insurance company may reimburse you for visits. If requested, we will supply a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We accept cash, check, HSA or credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa) payments.
